Okay now – winter be gone! With the recent release of
California Wines at the LCBO, we are anticipating summer weather more than ever. We want patios and lakeside gatherings. The inspiration for
today’s Thursty Thursday cocktail comes from California – its lush vineyards to
be specific.
California Cosmo 1 1/4 oz proof vodka • 1/2 oz
cointreau • 2 oz red grape juice • red grapes
Add proof vodka, Cointreau and grape juice to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a grape.
Not only do we produce our own spirits, but proof

Winemaker, Michael Sebastiani has spent his life in these
vineyards and his adult life making wine. He is the 3rd generation of this
famous California winemaking family. His is a labor of love and tradition and
the medals and critical recognition our wines receive attest to his skills and
dedication.
The Highwayman The proprietary blend of Cabernet Franc (50%), Cabernet
Sauvignon (30%) and Merlot (20%). The composition of this ‘Bordeaux-influenced’
wine showcases vibrant berry notes that may way for a rich, lush experience.
The core varietals of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon work like a
symphony when blended together. You’ll find a dense core and firm, yet inviting
tannins with a velvety-soft finish leaving an elegant impression.
We are so lucky to have this wine because we are the only
place outside of California to get it. Only 900 cases were produced. It should
retail for $80, but because of a winery error, it retails at the LCBO for
