We will be counting down to Christmas with several of our favourite gift ideas. First on our list is a proof whisky bar pack. This holiday, surprise your special someone with this stylish whisky bar-pack. Our proof whisky bar pack includes one 500 mL bottle of proof whisky, a custom shot glass, and pour spout – all for the same price as a 500 mL bottle of proof whisky$19.95 - LCBO #247536. You know that feeling when you have made little progress towards completing your looonnng list of presents, and you suddenly hit an amazing shop that carries something for everyone? Well, we definitely do because we have already discovered it. IQ Living on the Danforth has it all, including some of the best windows in the city. Their kitchen gadget sledding party scene is a must-see.

Not only do the owners change the windows frequently, they paint the entire building façade to match the season. Right now IQ is Christmas red. (542 Danforth Avenue www.iqliving.com) With their assortment of kitchen gadgets, coffee makers, office accessories, cook books, cocktail tools, kids’ dishware, glassware, lunch bags and bathroom supplies, there is definitely something for everything in this well-stocked store.

Our favourite area is, of course, the bartending zone. These ice-cube trays would make perfect stocking stuffers, or conversation pieces at your holiday cocktail parties. We absolutely loved the robot and Titanic ice-cube trays.

If you didn’t make it out to the Distillery for the Christmas Market last year – now’s your chance. It’s really fun visiting. If you go on Friday evening, you won’t miss the opening ceremonies. Last year the Canadian Tenors were performing. (http://torontochristmasmarket.comIf you prefer an indoor venue, the One of a Kind Craft Show is still on until this Sunday. Michael Riley will be serving up some awesome pear drinks this evening at the Summerhill LCBO in Toronto from 4pm-8pm. Here’s your chance to try proof rum and whisky for that matter.
