proof whisky, feliz navidad, Vol. 150

It’s the final countdown for Christmas Shopping. If you haven’t placed your online orders and you live in the Toronto area, you can visit these great vintage stores. Or here’s an even better idea — make your loved ones a batch of this delicious chili-chocolate liqueur. For more information on proof brands visit www.proofbrands.com

Soma dark chocolate liqueur 1⅔ cups proof whisky • 1 cup heavy cream • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk • 4 tbsps melted Soma chili chocolate • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract • 2 tbsp cold coffee

Place all of the ingredients in a blender and mix on high speed for 20 seconds. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and refrigerate. If you are giving it as a gift, bottle it in clean mason jars or fancy bottles. Will store in refrigerator for up to 2 months. Makes about 4 cups. (TIP: if you cannot find chili chocolate add a couple of drop of chili sauce or chili bitters to your mix) (somachocolate.com)
